NARCOTIC MODULE & EXAM
ENSURING CONTINUED COMPETENCE WITH NARCOTIC DRUGS
Until recently, every registrant in the Full Class of registration has been required to take the CPodSBC Narcotic Module every 5 years. This is an important public protection measure; practitioners who prescribe or use any narcotics in their practice must have continued competence in this area.
The requirement included registrants attempting to reinstate in the Full Class.
The module includes an open-book exam that is self administered by the registrant who returns the completed exam to the College.
Registrants may contact the College for a copy of the narcotic exam and the associated study modules.
The narcotic module/exam is optional as of July 28, 2018 pending review and revision of the current module and exam.
