NARCOTIC MODULE & EXAM
ENSURING CONTINUED COMPETENCE WITH NARCOTIC DRUGS
Every registrant in the Full Class of registration must undertake the CPS-BC Narcotic Module every 5 years. This is an important public protection measure; practitioners must ensure their continued competence in this area.
The requirement includes registrants who are attempting to reinstate in the Full Class.
The College will contact registrants before the five year anniversary of their previous module.
The module includes an open-book exam that is self administered by the registrant who returns the completed exam to the College.
Registrants may contact the College for a copy of the narcotic exam and the associated study modules.
